Background glow effect

Jacob Wysko, BS, SIT

Geospatial and software engineer with a background in land surveying, LiDAR scanning, aerial photogrammetry, and GIS analysis.

I hold a B.S. in Geospatial Engineering from Michigan Technological University and am currently pursuing an M.S. in Civil Engineering with a geospatial specialty.

My primary area of interest is reality capture and its applications in mapping and surveying. I work across field data collection and technical problem-solving, from producing ALTA and boundary surveys to building custom software pipelines that streamline geospatial workflows. My background includes extensive work with terrestrial LiDAR systems, GNSS positioning, and UAV photogrammetry as an FAA-licensed remote pilot, alongside experience developing custom geospatial software tools rooted in years of full-stack software development.

I currently work as a Staff Surveyor at PEA Group, where I produce boundary and ALTA surveys and easement exhibits, and develop GIS analysis and custom scripting workflows to support large-scale land development projects.
